| SW Bears |
Hello,
my name is Brian Tamblin and I am the Head
Coach of the Southwest Bears. I would like to
take this opportunity to tell you about myself and
our football team. I have been with the Southwest Bears for twelve
years now. Four of those years have been as head coach, two years
as defensive coordinator for the 8th grade team and six
years as the 6th grade coach.
I am 31 years old and I started coaching for the Southwest Bears for Rich Lamsargis when I was 19 years of age. I also played for the Southwest Bears when I was in grade school. I have a lot of personal pride built into this team and I feel that my coaching staff and I bring a lot of energy and great teaching of the fundamentals to the sport of football. I only surround myself with great coaches and support staff. We at the Southwest Bears believe in teaching proper self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership and good sportsmanship.
We, as coaches, will do our very best to ensure that
each player is utilizing his full potential for the team. The team
comes before the individuals. Safety is always a top concern for
me. Many of the exercises, drills and team rules are there to
ensure your child is physically and mentally fit for football. Each
child is unique and will develop at his own pace. We will exercise
their bodies and minds in an effort to develop the skills needed to
execute the game of football.
We believe in four concepts at the Southwest Bears: Desire, Confidence, Team and Sportsmanship. I invite you to come and take the challenge. Become part of a winning program and learn a thing or two along the way.
